Exceptionally for 2023 this set is a rare opportunity to see the classic Canadian coin designs you know and love stamped with this year’s date (“2023”) in a non-circulation version. As we focus our attention on commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022), the Mint will not be issuing any 2023 dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead we struck a limited collector’s edition for each of the six Canadian coin denominations ($2, $1, 50¢, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢) and you get one of each in this special set.
These six 2023-dated coins are non-circulation coins: they are collector exclusives that are not intended for circulation. Packaged in a royal purple folder that pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, these extraordinary collectibles form an ideal set for those who collect Canada’s coins from year to year, as we mark the end of a reign and the end of an era in Canadian coins

These are really beautiful sunglasses, with a thick, sturdy green frame and gorgeous emerald green crystal accents at the temples. The hinge is set inside the crystal, so when you fold the glasses, the crystal splits into two parts. It's a neat feature and really unique. The lenses are green but lightly mirrored. I love the style and color of these glasses, as they are definitely unusual and people will notice them.
They are, unfortunately, a little tight on my head. I am going to take them to my optician and see if they can be adjusted. I also believe these may have been tried on or used and returned, as the lenses are both smudged like someone handled them with dirty hands. The glasses do not seem to be damaged, but I would have expected a pristine pair at this price point.
They come with paperwork and a lens cloth, along with a case for carrying and storage. Paperwork says they are made by Luxottica, which is a high-end, luxury eyewear company in Milan, Italy, that owns or licenses many popular luxury eyewear brands. They are lovely glasses with very good quality, a fun upscale look, and tons of style. I like them a lot and expect many compliments on this eye-catching pair!

Super cute

These are super cute and really love them except they are a tad too heavy I think for glasses. Made very well with quality materials, I found no cosmetic imperfections on the glasses. The overall look and stye of these are great and I really do love them I just can't wear them for too long due to the weight it becomes irritating.
