The Shroud of Turin or Turin Shroud Sindone di Torino, Sacra Sindoneis a length of cloth bearing the  image of a man who is alleged to be Jesus of Nazareth. It is kept in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Piedmont, northern Italy. The cloth itself is believed by some to be the burial shroud that Jesus was wrapped in when he was buried after crucifixion. It is first securely attested in 1390, when a local bishop wrote that the shroud was a forgery and that an unnamed artist had confessed. Radiocarbon dating of a sample of the shroud material is consistent with this date.

The Catholic Church has neither formally endorsed nor rejected the shroud, but in 1958 Pope Pius XII approved of the image in association with the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.[1] Pope John Paul II called the Shroud "a mirror of the Gospel".[2][3] Other Christian denominations, such as Anglicans and Methodists, have also shown devotion to the Shroud of Turin.[4]

Diverse arguments have been made in scientific and popular publications claiming to prove that the cloth is the authentic burial shroud of Jesus, based on disciplines ranging from chemistry to biology and medical forensics to optical image analysis. In 1988, three radiocarbon dating tests dated a corner piece of the shroud from the Middle Ages,[5] between the years 1260 and 1390. Some shroud researchers have challenged the dating, arguing the results were skewed by the introduction of material from the Middle Ages to the portion of the shroud used for radiocarbon dating.[sources 1] However, all of the scientific hypotheses used to challenge the radiocarbon dating have been scientifically refuted,[10][11][12] including the medieval repair hypothesis,[13][14][15] the bio-contamination hypothesis[16] and the carbon monoxide hypothesis.[11]

The image on the shroud is much clearer in black-and-white negative than in its natural sepia color, and this negative image was first observed in 1898 on the reverse photographic plate of amateur photographer Secondo Pia, who was allowed to photograph it while it was being exhibited. A variety of methods have been proposed for the formation of the image, but the actual method used has not yet been conclusively identified. Despite numerous investigations and tests, the status of the Shroud of Turin remains murky, and the nature of the image and how it was fixed on the cloth remain puzzling.[17] The shroud continues to be both intensely studied and controversial

Definitely a comfort read
Format: Kindle
Just a comfy cozy nice long read. While this is definitely a SLOOOOOOOOWWWWW burn, this is how you do RH right; a nice long novel where you actually get to know the characters so you can feel more connected to them & the story, not to mention getting enough time to actually remember all their names haha. & they are all consent kings. Also I do so love me some double omega OV, siiiigh (heart eyes). I wish there had been juuust a bit more spice, like maybe just between Elias & others before MC was ready (made Elias feel a bit underdone or gimmicky without it), I did love this read. Low stress, comfy read. It could've used another round of editing for some minor errors & type issues but it wasn't bad enough to pull ne out of the story. Though I did giggle at 'knecks', thinking kuh-necks in my head. Overall I'd say 9/10

beautiful story
Format: Kindle
I absolutely love this book, however there is quite a bit repetition! The storyline makes up for it, a just skipped them. I like that this was a cozy read, it’s an omegaverse romance, but really barely read as OV, you get a little hierarchy and scent blockers, but if not for that you wouldn’t know. I love the romance aspect however, they take there time and move at her pace! A good read, with some errors, hopefully there is more to come!!

I loved the concept of the story but it went no where painfully slow! There was so much repetition that I skimmed and only paid attention whenever I saw quotation marks. I need...yes we know what you need....said 125 times grew frustrating and tiresome! And what does progressive mean in this boom? There are 3 alphas and 2 omegas...is that different or is it bc of the 3 alphas and Lucian was the really alpha one. The sex was very disappointing too....very G rated in my spice level. There is no epilogue and I think it was like 80 something chapters! I should have read the reviews but the sample got me good! What does soren do for a living? Are the men sexual w eachother bc they did not show that in this story if you are worried about that. It was jus so painstakingly slooowwwwww!!! I get why but dang! Just beware g rated and slow paced w alot of repetition!

It's great but be warned...
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed the idea of this story. I really did! The story was great, the characters were great, and I had a decent enough time reading. I did however, find myself forcing myself to finish this and skimming through a lot of the series. The pacing was slow which is fine, but it was repetitive. Every single conversation Lydia had with these men always had to have some deeper meaning. Even when I thought there would be a light hearted reprieve, it always ended with another lecture or bit of advice. It felt like I was watching her interact with her multitude of therapists than men she was being courted by. I understand this was a path of healing for her but it got very old very fast. It felt excessive in every way to me and this aspect never changed throughout the entire story. Imagine reading an overly inspirational self help book where they tried to make it interesting by throwing in romance? Which again, could work in many cases but it was so excessive to me. That being said, I still think it was a great story and I think everyone should give this a chance!

Absolutely perfect
Format: Kindle
All of the characters are so expertly developed. They all support Lydia with unwavering understanding while she slowly opens up. I liked that the main conflict wasn’t between the pack and it instead pulled them closer together. This is honestly such a perfect feel good cozy omegaverse. There were some typos sprinkled through out but not enough to be irritating.
