Each Baobab candle is hand-poured in multiple pouring phases into glass containers that have been hand-blown by master craftsmen, making each candle completely unique.

The name Riviera describes the shores of the Mediterranean, stretching from Genoa to the Spanish border. Although the coast is vast and picturesque, the Riviera has become known not just as a seaside resort, but as a style in its own right, from decoration to architecture to fashion.

It’s this art of living that Baobab has tried to convey with the Riviera collection featuring hand-blown glass containers in marshmallow colors, where transparency and color unfold like light bubbles. The names of the candles were inspired by historic villas on the French Riviera, and the fragrances in this collection are original works by perfumer Emilie Bouge using a process similar to soliflore which highlights the Grasse region, and the raw materials harvested in this area.

The iconic Santo Sospir Villa is part of the heritage of the town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. This villa, built after the war as a holiday home has been completely painted with frescoes by artist Jean Cocteau. The Santo Sospir scented candle is made from hand-blown glass, where the transparency of the glass is enhanced by oval shapes in tangy colors, evoking organic forms. The greens and yellows that randomly dot the glass can change in intensity according to the breath of the glassmaker.

Bergamot, Green Apple, Cedar: The fragrance is an aromatic scent of bergamot, found in the top note, set in a citrus freshness with notes of green apple and cedar in the base. It offers an irresistible roundness in symbiosis with the colors of the glass.

Product care:
* Burn within sight.
* Keep away from things that catch fire.
* Keep away from children and pets.
* When burning more than one candle at the same time, always ensure that at least 20 cm space is left between burning candles.
* Do not let candle burn for longer than one hour once the entire surface of the candle is liquid.
* Do not let the candle burn to the end.
* Do not leave a burning candle unattended or close to easily flammable objects.
* Do not place candles near a source of heat. Put candles on a heat resistant surface.
* To reduce sooting, trim the wick 0.6 cm each time the candle is to be relit.
* Avoid using in drafty areas. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
