This Fender Custom Shop '55 Esquire has a very prominent wide grain Ash Body in a White Blonde Finish. The White blonde finish is translucent and really helps accent and complement each streak in the ash body. Fender's "U" neck profile is definitely on the thicker side and lends itself to filling the palm of any player's hand.
This being a Limited-Edition guitar for the 2015 model year, Fender has included an additional 1-ply pickguard with a Telecaster neck pickup and a prewired Control Circuit to drop in to convert this Esquire to a Telecaster. The original owner never converted the guitar to Telecaster spec and has left everything as it arrived from the factory.
This Fender '55 Esquire Relic is in very good condition and shows little to no signs of play wear aside from Fender's factory relic job.
