There are few players like Jeff Beck – thus, there are few guitars like the Epiphone Jeff Beck Oxblood 1954 Les Paul. Beck, a guitarist among the highest pantheon of players, has inspired countless with his fiery, soulful playing. Today's Epiphone Jeff Beck Oxblood 1954 Les Paul captures the essence of Beck's heavily modified 1954 Les Paul – known for its unique chocolate brown and oxblood finish.

Beck's original 1954 Les Paul sold at auction for $1.3 million. In 2009, an encounter with the Gibson Custom Shop brought fifty replicas of Beck's oxblood to the world, and now, in collaboration with the Custom Shop, Epiphone revives this Gibson classic for the players of today.

This Epiphone signature begins with a classic Les Paul body shaped from mahogany with a maple top. Imparting that all-important Les Paul authenticity when slung over the shoulder, this body is decked in a finish replicating Beck's original chocolate oxblood color. Extending out, a one-piece mahogany neck takes a Jeff Beck Custom Large C profile for a full grip in hand. An Indian rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets and aged mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays lay out a formidable runway off which your best Beck-style licks can fly.

Sonically, this Jeff Beck special comes to life with the addition of two American-made Gibson Custombucker pickups. Wired with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, these pickups utilize '50s-style wiring for a unique tone mixing experience. These pickups are set to produce all the heat and nuance Beck was known to bring to his playing with taste and finesse. Smaller considerations brought to this guitar that do quite a bit for its overall experience include a low-friction Graph Tech nut and Schaller M6 90 tuning machines that ensure stability past the headstock. A historic aluminum wraparound bridge matches at the scale's opposite end. Specifications for authenticity to Beck's original Les Paul include gold Speed knobs and a pickguard with a gap above the bridge pickup. Visually and audibly, this Epiphone creation is a masterful representation of an icon of electric guitars.

For fans of Beck seeking something authentic to add to their collection or for Les Paul fans universally, the Jeff Beck Oxblood 1954 Les Paul is a decadent example of fine guitarcraft in action.

Best Guide Ever!
Format: Hardcover
Comic Book Guy's book of pop culture is a hilarious read. Get in the know with Film, sci-fi, gaming, and of course, comics. Read all about a typical day in the life of comic book guy and learn his all time favorite quotes. Take a look at how to run your own comic book shop. Look at CBG places to be such as gaming tournaments, parent's basement, and baseball card convention. Learn the 15 types of moviegoers. A roll-on-the-floor-laughing book for not only for Simpson's fans but comic book fans as well. I highly, highly recommend it.

Absolutely thrilling and entertaining! Never wanted to put this book down 🫶🏻
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I’m not gonna lie, I saw this was from Jennifer Lynn Barnes, read the description, and I was immediately hooked. Search and rescue dogs? Check. Family secrets? Check. A thrilling read? Check, check, and check. I absolutely loved every minute of this book, but considering that Jennifer Lynn Barnes also wrote The Inheritance Games, I shouldn’t have been surprised. So, plot, characters, and writing. For one, with the plot, I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the open ending. I didn’t find it that open in my opinion. I think it left just enough to let you know that people’s stories don’t end just because an event does. It’s more realistic that way and I seriously don’t understand why people get so mad about it. Besides that complaint from other people (not from me), every bit of the plot was exciting in this book. As far as the characters go, if you love love love Jameson from The Inheritance Games, you’ll absolutely adore Jude. Same character type and everything. Kira was obviously very reserved and different as a person because of her trauma, but I liked her depth. I wish we would’ve gotten a little more backstory about what happened to her in the woods and why it happened, but that’s okay. And the dogs? Probably the best characters in the whole book. Lastly, with the writing, if you liked any of Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ previous books, you’ll love this one. I seriously enjoyed this book so much. Overall, this was a book that I couldn’t put down and literally kept me on my toes. One hundred percent worth it to read (unless you don’t like somewhat open endings). Definitely a top read for this year. Favorite quote: “The things that haunt us, they make us human.”
