This Shielded Outdoor Water Blocking Direct Burial CAT5E Cable is specially designed for installations where the cable will be buried underground in conduit. Its 8 conductors (4-Pairs) consist of solid bare copper, complemented by high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Jacket. Featuring aluminum foil shielding, this cable effectively eliminates and protects against electrical interference.

For enhanced moisture protection, the cable incorporates a water block tape that repels water, preventing it from entering the cable and affecting the conductors. Additionally, a tinned copper drain wire grounds the electricity after termination, a crucial component to prevent signal loss, cross-talk, and other performance issues.
