Cortec® VpCI®-705 is a multifunctional fuel additive. It serves as corrosion inhibitor, fuel stabilizer and water emulsifier for gasoline, diesel and gasohol mixtures. It provides rust prevention, lubricity and elastomer protection. As a fuel stabilizer, it provides better engine performance. VpCI®-705 protects in all phases: liquid, interface and vapor phase. It has good low temperature fluidity and relatively high flashpoint permitting ease and safety of application. Does not contain trace metals, chlorides, chromates, nitrites or phosphates.

How to Use:
For in-use gasoline tanks: Add VpCI®-705 to fuel or directly to fuel tanks. Dosage: 0.1-0.15% per volume of tank to be protected.

For storage and shipment of dry fuel tanks: Fog VpCI®-705 concentrate into tank covering as much internal surface area as possible. Dosage: 1.5 oz per 10 US gallons tank volume.

For gas-Condensate lines: Inject VpCI®-705 at the dosage rate of 1/4 to 1/2 pint per million cubic feet of gas.

For treatment of liquid gas tanks: ranges from 100-200 ppm and depends on liquid gas chemistry.

Typical Applications:
Cortec® VpCI®-705 may be use in operation and storage. Use to prevent rust on fuel tanks, carburetors, fuel pumps, upper engine cylinder components and natural gas/gas condensate sales lines and collectors. It also protects upper cylinder walls, piston heads and rings during shutdown. Protects all metals including tinplate, solder, copper, aluminum, steel and brass.
