De Tequila Don Julio 70 Cristalino Añejo is gemaakt van 100% blue weber agave geproduceerd in de hooglanden van Jalisco, Mexico.

Deze unieke tequila is tot stand gekomen voor de viering van 70 jaar te markeren sinds Don Julio Gonzalez begon met het maken van Tequila. Het heeft de complexiteit van een traditionele Añejo met de heldere kleur van een Blanco Tequila.

De Añejo is 2 keer gedestilleerd en 18 maanden gerijpt in Amerikaanse, witte eikenhouten vaten. Vervolgens zorgvuldig met houtskool gefilterd om de frisse agavesmaak van Blanco Tequila te herstellen. Met als resultaat een mooie smaak met aroma’s van agave gevolgd met hinten van citroen, geroosterde amandelen en zwarte peper. Perfect gebalanceerd met tonen van chocolade, butterscotch en vanille.

Don Julio Gonzalez, de founder van Don Julio Tequila, droomde van zijn eigen distilleerderij waar hij de perfecte Tequila kon gaan produceren. In samenwerking met een lokale investeerder wist hij zijn droom werkelijkheid te maken: een eigen destilleerderij inclusief de velden waar hij zijn blauwe Agave kan verbouwen. Door zijn unieke eigenwijsheid en zijn oog voor perfectie, ontstond de Don Julio Tequila range.
