De rekbare stof heeft een waterafstotende oppervlaktebehandeling, waardoor hij niet nat wordt door een beetje vocht, omdat dat gewoon aan de oppervlakte wordt tegengehouden. Er zit ook een waterdicht membraan onder de buitenstof voor een betere bescherming tegen weersinvloeden, maar de broek is in zijn geheel niet volledig waterdicht vanwege niet-getapete naden. Het technische membraan laat bovendien vocht van binnenuit verdampen, wat het comfort verbetert.
