Ja van ons krijgt hij ook dubbel goud want wat is dit een pareltje! Het wijnhuis Voche is onderdeel van Manzanos en dat is geen onbekende in Spanje. Het wijnhuis is al honderden jaren actief en hiermee heeft men een schat aan ervaringen. Voche wordt gemaakt bij bodega Azagra en wordt gemaakt door Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Pastor, vader van de huidige eigenaar.De oude Rioja wijngaard van Voche
Het wijnhuis is gelegen aan de top van de heuvel en kent vier verschillende percelen op verschillende hoogtes. Hierdoor krijgt elk perceel zijn eigen stijl en kan men een Rioja maken die erg krachtig en veelzijdig is. Hier groeien de Tempranillo en Graciano voor deze wijn en omdat het gebied erg droog is zitten de wortels diep in de grond. Dat betekend veel diepgang en rijkdom in de wijn, nou dat is gelukt hoor. Na de handmatige oogst en zeer strenge selectie die eigenlijk alleen maar wordt gedaan door vrouwelijke medewerkers ondergaat deze Crianza een hout rijping van 24 maanden. Bij Voche gebruikt men enkel Frans eiken hout waarvan de helft nog nooit is gebruikt. Dit verse hout geeft veel smaak indrukken aan de wijn maar is ook erg kostbaar, niks is goed genoeg voor deze Reserva! Na deze periode rijpt hij op de fles verder in de kelders van Voche voor een periode van 24 maanden. Na uiteindelijk 48 maanden te hebben door gebracht in rust is dit juweel klaar om gedronken te worden.Vol en zeer krachtig deze Voche Rioja Reserva
Nou hang de slingers en ballonnen maar op want het feest kan beginnen hoor! Met in de geur een breed boeket aan indrukken van zwart fruit, pittige tonen van kruiden en vanille, veel eiken hout en zwarte peper, chocolade en tabak maar ook granaat appel en dropjes. Eigenlijk te veel om op te noemen en dat komt ook weer terug in de smaak, betoverend is het woord wat goed past. Smaak nuances van zwart fruit, zwarte peper, laurier, vanille en eiken hout is nog maar het begin van het feest. Proef en geniet en laat u betoveren door deze Voche Rioja Reserva.Shipping Notes

Could not put this book down!

Binge read quality!! Finished in 2 days I was in a dilemma with this book. I couldn't wait to finish because it was so good, and yet I didn't want it to end, because it was so good. Staying up til 2:30am is the highest complement I can give to a book. Current day with Gothic feel. The story pulls you in immediately, and there is never a part where it feels dull, or that you need to skip through. Mysterious with plot twists, especially the end. I love how there were flashbacks from the past intertwined with present day. Gave a great backstory that only came together at the very end. Spicy for sure, and fit in perfectly with story. Great character development so that you could empathize with both of the main characters.. Lucian and Isa. Check Trigger warnings first!

Easy Read With a Wild Ending
Format: Audiobook
This was a really easy book to get pulled into. The writing flowed well and I flew through it without feeling bogged down at any point. While I don’t think it hit me as hard as some of Keri Lake’s other books, I was still invested the whole time and needed to know where everything was going.
The atmosphere and mystery kept me hooked, but the ending? That twist completely caught me off guard. I honestly did not see that coming at all. Even though this one wasn’t my favorite from the author, the final turn alone made it worth the read.

A masterfully written, stunning, gothic romance!

Lucian Blackthorne . . . my, my, my. Be still my romantic, sinful, dark heart. This male lead is one of the most addicting, flawed, sensual, erotic characters I've ever read. fanning myself I loved his dark, thrill-seeking, possessive, obsessive, carnal nature. Seriously, where can I find one?
I digress. Lucian is a scarred man with secrets but that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. He's layered as deeply as an onion and it's addicting to peel back each one. He's a rich, powerful alpha male but there's so much to the man the town refers to as the Devil of Bonesalt. He's marked by loss, lies, a painful past, and the shadows of his choices in life. The Blackthorne name bears tragedy, turmoil, and an affiliation with the macabre.
Isadora is a strong female lead. She's young but her life hasn't been easy. She's flawed, haunted by the past, and as much an outcast as her new employer, the enigmatic, elusive Lucian Blackthorne. Her new position brings her into the fold, learning the darkness, deceit, sadness, and crimes elicited against the Blackthorne family. REVIEW: This book follows Isa who lives with her aunt on an island. Isa begins a new job as a caretaker for the dark, and mysterious Blackthorne family. A family who is disliked and even feared by the rest of the inhabitants of the island. However, as she grows closer to the man who they call the devil, Lucian Blackthorne, Isa sees for herself what the truth of Blackthorne manor really is.
This book is a dark romance! Originally I was told it was fantasy, which I don’t agree with at all. It is more of an erotic, gothic feel with some mystery sprinkled in. The plot was very interesting and kept me intrigued. This book was also quite steamy, however, I felt those scenes were well done and didn’t take away from the rest of the book.
Overall, the content in this book is quite dark and the backstories of the characters involve potentially triggering matters. Be aware to look these up if you feel like you need to. Overall, this is the first book I have read by Keri Lake, and I am excited to read more.
