The Alfagomma A-MSPS Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel hose fittings designed to connect hoses to a system using a metric straight standpipe. These fittings are commonly used in applications where secure and durable hose connections are needed. Ferrules are metal components that are inserted into the hose end and help create a tight, leak-proof seal when the hose is attached to the fitting. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate parts—like a fitting and a ferrule—allowing for easier installation and replacement of parts, while one-piece fittings are a single, solid unit that must be replaced as a whole if damaged. The A-MSPS Two-Piece Fittings are compatible with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses ranging from ³⁄₁₆" to 2" in diameter, providing a flexible and reliable solution for high-pressure applications.

Decent driver, but no real torque control

As others have noted, this driver works well overall, but would be better if the head could go to 90° instead of just 45°, and it comes in an extremely hard to open package. I'd like to point out a couple of other things that I haven't seen mentioned. First, although this tool claims to have torque control via the three-level setting on the handle, it's not like most drills and drivers. With them, when the maximum torque setting is reached, a clutch disengages and the tool just 'freewheels.' But this Skil driver runs until the motor stalls, and its three settings merely control when that happens. In practical terms, that means the tool can wrench your wrist pretty badly. Even at the lowest setting the torque is considerable, making it all too easy to strip threads or even break off screw heads. This also makes it more likely to injure your wrist. Also, in case it wasn't obvious, this tool's battery is not user-replaceable. If it runs out of power in the middle of a job... too bad. And when eventually it gets to the point where it will no longer hold a charge, Skil's only suggestion is to "Have the tool serviced by an Authorized SKIL Service Station." If you can find one, that is. If you don't want a disposable tool, this is probably not for you. Don't get me wrong--I like this driver, and it has already come in handy in a few situations where my regular drill/driver would have been too bulky to fit. But it's good to know its limitations. Skil also makes a smaller, less expensive 4 V screwdriver that lacks the adjustable-angle head of this one.
