What are Flatback Hotfix crystals?
Austrian Flat back Hotfix crystals are loose crystal elements with a flat reverse side which is pre-coated with a heat-sensitive glue. Austrian Hotfix crystals are great for adding a touch of sparkle and glamour to your, costumes, tutus, bridalwear, shoes, purses, outfits and much more. Austrian Crystals are easily applied to produce a durable and long-lasting crystal effect.
Why the 2078 Crystal
The Austrian 2078 rhinestone features a unique star design which adds to its refractive ability and increased brilliance. The new silver mirror backing is unique in the Hotfix market. This is an actual silver foiling backing which creates a warmer and brighter look with intensified and livelier colours (diamond like). When you look flip it over and look at the back of the stone, it is a copper colour. This backing is unique and offers an easier way for you to ensure you are indeed getting genuine Austrian elements hotfix product.
The Hot Fix System.
The Hotfix crystals have a heat sensitive glue on one side and a platinum on the crystal base. These easily applied Austrian Hotfix crystals adhere to a wide range of fabrics but are not recommended for leather, non porous surfaces or water resistant material. Swarovski hotfix crystals are available in a multitude of colours
How to apply Hotfix crystals
Hotfix crystals can be easily applied using a hot fix tool or iron. Make sure to use a layer of card sandwiched between front and back of garment to prevent glue adhering to both layers.
When purchasing one of the sealed factory packs, 10 gross (1440 pieces) it is sealed with the quality control hologram.
