Leather: Crazy Beast is a full top grain leather with a combination wax/oil tannage with aniline dyes. The light pull-up allows the lighter base color to burst through as the leather is pulled tight in upholstery. Visible scars will be used throughout to give it a worn rugged look that will continue to burnish and polish over time thus enhancing the patina. Crazy is a refreshingly authentic leather with rich colorations that appeal to the most sophisticated leather aficionado. Pronounced color variations - heat, sun and light sensitive. Sourced and finished in Thailand.
Frame Construction: Using traditional hand craftsmanship with modern manufacturing methods to produce frames that are among the finest used in the upholstery business. Each frame is precisely cut and hand assembled using kiln dried lumber. Double dowels are utilized in all structural parts to form sturdy, long lasting joints. To complete construction and add stability to the frame, large precisely cut corner blocks are positioned at each corner where the greatest stress occurs using both glues and screws.
