The CDG Solo System enhances your solo wargaming experience by reintroducing key elements often lost in traditional two-handed play, such as narrative flow and the fog of war. Designed to work with your favorite CDGs, this system features two Card Displays that manage each side’s strategy cards. At the start of each turn, a Fate Die roll determines which cards are available for play, usually revealing 2 or 3 cards, while still leaving the final decision up to you. As you play, the Cards Remaining track adjusts accordingly, and you seamlessly move to the other side’s turn, maintaining a natural rhythm that allows the game to truly shine.

This system brings multiple benefits to solo CDG players. The Fate Die roll quickly narrows your options, simplifying decision-making for each side. Since cards are only revealed when their specific slot is rolled, you won't know all the available cards, preserving uncertainty and preventing the mental strain of considering every possible move. Additionally, the system introduces an element of surprise—sometimes the perfect strategy hinges on a single die roll, adding tension and excitement to your game. The CDG Solo System effectively reintroduces the fog of war, making for unpredictable moments that create the most memorable gaming experiences.
