The Red Leopard Wrasse, also known as Choat’s Leopard Wrasse, is one of the most stunning and sought-after reef-safe wrasses. Endemic to Australia, particularly the Great Barrier Reef and Lord Howe Island, Macropharyngodon choati inhabits coral-rich areas and sandy slopes where it forages for small invertebrates.

An omnivore that feeds on small crustaceans, worms, and copepods in the wild.
