The BD-Power 1032150 Steering Upgrade Kit will substantially upgrade the entire steering system of your 2001-2010 GM 2500HD/3500HD or 2001-2007 GM 1500HD Classic. A major weak point on Chevrolet and GMC 2500 & 3500 trucks is the tie rods and steering linkage are just barely adequate. Lift kits, larger tires and upgraded/high horsepower engines put increased strain on the steering system; much more than OEM was designed to handle. Common failure points on for the front end results in sloppy steering, broken tie rods, and the front wheels toeing-in under load while in four-wheel drive. If your truck is lifted, use for heavy towing, or has performance upgrades, youÕll want to upgrade your steering kit before it leaves you stranded on the side of the road.  

The BD-Power 1032150 Steering Upgrade Kit retains the OE geometry for precise steering and allows for any OEM replacement parts to drop-in without any sacrifice to geometry or modification required. Other upgrade kits change the steering geometry which can sacrifice safety and drivability for straight line performance while pulling or racing. This can also create a dangerous "bump steer" where the vehicle becomes unstable on rough roads. By keeping the steering geometry unaltered, this upgrade kit saves your truck from this issue. 

The BD-Power 1032150 Steering Upgrade Kit includes new sway bar end links, tie rods, and a centerlink. The forged I-Beam Centerlink is 30% stronger than OEM centerlink. The increased strength reduces flex in the steering system and makes a sturdy base for the tie rods to mount to. The tie rods are 1.5x thicker with bigger inner ball joints than the stock tie rods to reduce flexing and minimize wear. Testing has proven that these tie rods can handle over twice the amount of force than what OE rods can handle. With greaseable ball joints and sintered bearings, these tie rods offer greater load holding and increased durability. Longer, through bolt sway bar end links are included to accommodate the larger tie rods and leveling kits. The Polyurethane bushings are included with these sway bar end links that feature a factory-style shape for better articulation and durability. This package is a massive upgrade for worn out steering components and will increase the durability, longevity and dependability of your truck!
