The 5,000 PSI Top Mount Pressure Gauge on Stainless Quick-Connect Fitting is a premium diagnostic tool designed to accurately monitor system pressure and protect your equipment from damaging pressure spikes. Paired with a stainless steel top-mount QC fitting, this assembled gauge provides quick installation, reliable readings, and long-term durability in demanding pressure washing and fluid system applications.
Once installed, the gauge measures true running pressure and captures sudden spikes that occur when the spray gun trigger is engaged or released. Establishing a baseline PSI allows you to compare readings over time, helping identify system changes before they lead to performance loss or component failure.
Recommended Installation Locations
Primary (Fixed) Location - Pressure at the Pump
Most commonly installed immediately after the pump or on an unloader port, this location measures pressure directly at the pump and detects pressure spikes. It can also alert you to pump cavitation, which may not be audible or noticeable-often indicated by a bouncing or trembling gauge needle.
Secondary (Temporary) Location - Spray Gun Base
Used for intermittent checks, this position helps verify operating pressure at the gun and identify nozzle wear. As nozzles enlarge over time, pressure changes are captured by the gauge, signaling when replacement is needed.
