Besides the 10GB copper ports, the switch also features six 40GB QSFP+ B-F Air connectivity ports. This allows you to connect higher-speed uplink modules or aggregate multiple lower-speed links into a single high-bandwidth connection.
With a switching capacity of 1.44 Tbps, this switch can handle heavy network traffic without slowdowns or bottlenecks. Its forwarding rate of 1.08 Bpps ensures efficient packet processing even under high load conditions.
To support large-scale networks, the QFX5100-48T-AFI has an impressive MAC address table size of 288,000 entries. This means it can easily accommodate many connected devices without running out of available addresses.
