The American West of the nineteenth century was a world of freedom and adventure for men of every stripe--not least also those who admired and desired other men. Among these sojourners was William Drummond Stewart, a flamboyant Scottish nobleman who found in American culture of the 1830s and 1840s a cultural milieu of openness in which men could pursue same-sex relationships. This book traces Stewart's travels from his arrival in America in 1832 to his return to Murthly Castle in Perthshire, Scotland, with his French Canadian-Cree Indian companion, Antoine Clement, one of the most skilled hunters in the Rockies. Benemann chronicles Stewart's friendships with such notables as Kit Carson, William Sublette, Marcus Whitman, and Jim Bridger. He describes the wild Renaissance-costume party held by Stewart and Clement upon their return to America--a journey that ended in scandal. Through Stewart's letters and novels, Benemann shows that Stewart was one of many men drawn to the sexual freedom offered by the West. His book provides a tantalizing new perspective on the Rocky Mountain fur trade and the role of homosexuality in shaping the American West.Binding Type: Paperback

Paws the vote is in and it got three out of three
Three puppies voted paws up for taste and a little bit of longevity. Now as for value for money. I know how much better than rawhide treats. But I’d like to see the price come down and more chewy’s inside the bag

So so small! Not worth $
The images in Amazon are nothing like what the product is. The pretzels and rings are minuscule. My two pit/lab mixes will eat one in about 30 seconds. So disappointment. Not worth the $ for what you’re getting. I tried to return items which are individually wrapped but they do not allow returns on these products. I have not opened any of them and still not able to return. If you have a dog under 15lbs these may work! If you have a large breed don’t bother. I’m so disappointed. Pictures above is the product next to a small milk bone biscuit (for reference).

Clean & quality but taste, meh
Flavor Name: Berry, Size: 30 Servings (8.0 Ounce) (Pack of 1)
I’ve ordered this product twice now. I do a wide array of workouts from weights to running to multi-functional. I’ve taken aminos from different companies for a long time but started to finally really research & felt much safer taking Thorne. The flavor isn’t the best if you add too much water. I’ve always added around 20oz to my intra-workout aminos with no problem but this one will get watered down. I adjusted and it’s been good. I’m also used to awful tasting soups and just powering through worse and this flavor is better than stuff I took up till the last few years. Newer people to using supplements might not like the flavor at all but trust me all workout supplements used to be awful. My recovery & muscle growth/lift gains have remained the same to the other products I’ve used with more mystery ingredients so there was no drop off there. I’m okay with taking a step back on taste and variety rather than putting mystery crap in my body from lesser regulated big companies. Product quality wins this for me & I’ve heard from multiple non-Thorne associated experts that vouched for Thrones testing.
