This new edition, publishing in the International Year of the Periodic Table, celebrates the completion of the seventh period of the table, with the ratification and naming of elements 113, 115, 117, and 118 as nihonium, moscovium, tennessine, and oganesson. Eric Scerri also incorporates new material on recent advances in our understanding of the origin of the elements, as well as developments concerning group three of the periodic table. Easy read
Format: Paperback
I purchased it for school of course. I’m also taking Psych and Med Surg lll right now. I’ll say that knowing I had to read this book was a big turn off for me as I only wanted to focus on the other courses I felt were more important and thought this book/ class was of no need. Now that I’m a week out from my first exam and have to play catch up on 5 chapters, lol, I will say the book is written in a way that what they’re conveying comes off as quite interesting. There’s no boredom to it at all. So I’d say kudos to the writer… because they did their big one!
