Electra Coral Bells is an evergreen herbaceous perennial with a tight mounding habit grown for its vibrant basal foliage.  The round-lobed leaves emerge yellow with red veins, matures to chartreuse in summer and earns tan tones in fall, all while keeping is red veins.  Airy clusters of tiny white bell-like flowers bloom on red stems from late spring into summer attracting butterflies.  Best bloom in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Potential issues include powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot, and frost heaving of roots if winter temperatures fluctuate widely.  Will grow slowly in heavy shade.
