Libec 100mm Professional Carbon Fiber 2-Stage Baby Tripod (TK-210C / TK-210QC)

In high-end cinematography, commercial production, and documentary filmmaking, capturing dramatic low-angle perspectives or operating within tight physical spaces typically requires compromises. Traditional standard-height tripods cannot drop low enough, while generic "baby legs" often sacrifice stability, use heavy metal materials, or feature only a restrictive single-stage extension.

Libec addresses this with their line of 100mm Professional Carbon Fiber 2-Stage Baby Tripods. Anchored by the highly acclaimed TK-210C and its fast-deploying successor, the TK-210QC, these industrial-grade baby legs provide an ultra-low profile combined with massive structural payload capabilities. Built natively around an industry-standard 100mm bowl receiver, these tripods isolate and neutralize the extreme physical stress generated by fully kitted digital cinema packages, large broadcast camcorders, heavy anamorphic glass, and teleprompter configurations.

1. The 2-Stage Advantage: Unmatched Height Range Flexibility

Most baby tripods on the market feature a single-stage design, limiting their adjustment capabilities. Libec breaks the mold by integrating a robust 2-stage (3-section) multi-tube leg assembly.

  • Extreme Low-Angle Perspectives: The legs drop down to an incredibly low minimum height of 21 cm (8.2"), enabling operators to capture ground-level tracking shots, dramatic underslung angles, or tight interior perspectives.

  • Vertical Range Clearance: Despite its low minimum height, the 2-stage extension maximizes vertical capability, reaching an impressive top height of up to 71 cm (28.0"). This lets you seamlessly lift the camera out of the dirt to a standard working height without switching to a different set of legs.

2. Premium High-Modulus Carbon Fiber Construction

To shave crucial weight off your production kit without sacrificing structural strength, Libec utilizes high-modulus multi-layer carbon fiber piping for the twin-strut leg segments.

  • Ultra-Lightweight Profile: Weighing a mere 2.7 kg (5.9 lbs) including the ground spreader mechanism, this baby tripod is incredibly easy to move around tight, fast-moving sets or transport on long field treks.

  • High Torsional Rigidity: Carbon fiber natively delivers superb vibrational dampening and high rigidity. Even when performing sharp pans or fast tracking shots under maximum loads, the twin-tube layout completely prevents the legs from splaying, twisting, or bowing.

3. Massive Payload Capacity Options

Don't be fooled by their compact footprint—these baby tripods are engineered to anchor heavy, full-scale production packages:

  • Libec TK-210C (Standard Version): Boasts an impressive structural load threshold of 40 kg (88 lbs), handling standard modular cinema cameras with ease.

  • Libec TK-210QC (Quick-Lock Version): Upgraded to a massive maximum weight capacity of 60 kg (132 lbs). This heavy-duty threshold effortlessly supports large-scale studio configurations, complete with external monitors, heavy battery plates, and long telephoto lenses.

4. Advanced Ergonomic Lock Options (Rotary vs. Quick-Lock)

Libec offers this high-performance carbon fiber skeleton in two distinct operational configurations to match your specific production workflow:

  • TK-210C (Rotary Locking): Utilizes highly reliable, temperature-independent traditional locking levers. These secure, durable locks provide an unyielding hold that performs flawlessly in sub-zero alpine conditions or intense desert heat.

  • TK-210QC (Quick-Lock Version): Features Libec’s advanced, single-action Quick-Lock lever mechanism located at the upper section of the tripod assembly. A single flip of the top lever telescopes or collapses both lower leg stages simultaneously, significantly speeding up on-set workflows and eliminating the need to bend down to adjust lower leg locks.

5. Complete System Adaptability & Native Utility

  • Universal 75mm Ball Adapter Included: While built with a native 100mm bowl for heavy-duty cinema heads, every tripod comes standard with the Libec AD-75 adapter. This lets you drop down to a 75mm ball head layout instantly, allowing you to use a variety of fluid heads without buying extra accessories.

  • Expansion Ports (QC Model): The main casting base of the TK-210QC integrates three sets of independent 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threaded accessory ports. This allows you to bolt articulated monitor arms, lights, or wireless transmitters directly to the tripod framework without cluttering your camera cage.

  • Standard Multi-Angle Carrying Grip: The tripods include a standard, rugged multi-angle carrying handle that adjusts in 90° steps, making it incredibly easy to carry the rig between setups.

  • Dolly & Spreader Support: Comes standard with a specialized, heavy-duty floor spreader that keeps the footprint locked onto flat surfaces. The rubber feet can be pulled off in seconds to expose native stainless steel dual spiked feet that bite deep into dirt or grass. It is also fully cross-compatible with the Libec DL-10RB compact dolly for smooth, low-profile floor tracking shots.

2026 it has saved me
I never wanted a store card only! When I first applied I was bummed that I only got the store card and I thought about canceling it. BUT A lot has changed this year for sure. New grandparents, grocery being so EXPENSIVE and everything in our house as far as electronics needed to be replaced. Very easy to apply for, love the fact that you can apply without getting a hit on your credit and if you want to accept the offer then do so and if you decide that it’s not enough credit then you can decline the offer and no hit to your credit. I will say this, this was the lowest card that I was offered but I chose to get it anyway and within a month I had already received a credit line increase. I also took a trip out of the country and was able to order stuff and have it delivered with no problems. Every time I use it I get cash back and am able to use that on my next order. This is my weekly card for groceries. I definitely can’t wait until it upgrades to the visa, I would definitely get more use out of it. For those who are Amazon shoppers, it’s well worth it. So far so good, Good Choice.

Good, but you need to be careful with it
I've done business with GE CRB before using other store cards, so I knew what to expect going into this. I will echo the advice that a few others have given. For one, I would recommend that you only use this card for one purchase at a time and that you pay it off entirely before using the card again. The interest starts accruing immediately, but you are not billed for it until the promotional term expires - for example 6 months, 12 months, etc. You will see the expiration date and accrued interest amount on your bill. I always make sure I can pay off the entire amount well before the expiration date. Also, I schedule automatic payments through the website so it's paid every two weeks (pay day works well for me). I divide the balance by number of payments and schedule all of them right away. It's very easy to do this and will prevent late payment fees and the possibility of defaulting and getting hit with the accrued interest. I haven't had to deal directly with GE CRB customer service yet, so I don't have any complaints on that. The benefit of having a card like this is being able to use it for major purchases, paying it off over time, and avoiding any interest charges because you are paying off the balance before the promotional term (deferred interest) expires. You can't do that with a regular credit card. If you want a card to make frequent purchases with and plan on paying off the balance at the end of the month, you're much better off with a regular credit card. One warning... I noticed that after I was approved for this card my method of payment for Kindle one click purchases changed to this card. Keeping it that way would not be good and I wanted to make sure others know about this. I'm pretty sure you'd be hit with the interest at the end of the month since the purchases you would be making are lower than what's required to receive the no interest promotions. I changed it back to my debit card. Just keep on top of the account, don't use it to make a bunch of purchases, and pay the balance off before the promotional terms expire and you'll be fine. Like all credit, being responsible is the key to not getting in trouble with it.

Was lucky to meet really polite and conducive employees. But the Card Company and Amazon Coders are crap.
2:13:23 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Initial Question/Comment: I wanted to pay right now. And then close the card today. $400 is far to low a limit to be worth my time. Your payment in the amount of $403.23 has been successfully scheduled for 04/20/2015. Please allow up to 48 hours for this payment to be reflected on your account. Confirmation will be sent to *****@gmail.com Confirmation Number: 831651153 2:13:28 PM : System: Welcome to Amazon.com Store Card Live Chat. Your chat may be monitored and recorded for quality purposes. A chat agent will be with you momentarily. 2:13:28 PM : System: James has joined this session! 2:13:28 PM : System: Connected with James. Your Reference Number for this chat is 2494835. 2:13:33 PM : James: Hi, thank you for contacting us today. I will be happy to assist you. 2:14:13 PM : James: We do regret your decision to close your account with Amazon store card. May I please ask if there is any specific reason that you wish to close the account? 2:16:09 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: The limit is too low. If it is not at least $1500 or enough to purchase a refrigerators or repair an air conditioner in an emergency.... then why the heck do i need a credit card? I have $10,000 in savings. For small bills i can do cash. I only signed up for your card because of the $40 discount on a nVIDIA Shield Tablet. 2:17:04 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: My credit score is 754 with Transunion and 740ish with the other on CreditKarma.com 2:17:58 PM : James: I completely understand and I apologize for the inconvenience. 2:18:28 PM : James: Please be advised that there is no annual fee, 0% fraud liability and you are eligible for numerous Promotions offered. Would you like to re-consider your decision? 2:19:03 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I want to pay the card first. Then see if the limit can be fixed. 2:19:44 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Why the hell $400? 2:19:47 PM : James: I would be glad to place a request for you right away and check the decision. 2:20:00 PM : James: Ui Neil Sandag, to complete this transaction I am going to need your net income. When disclosing income, please provide the annual net dollar amount of all sources of income which you have, as an individual. Alimony, child support or separate maintenance income need not be included unless relied upon for credit. 2:20:03 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: no hard credit pulls. 2:20:13 PM : James: Your request for a credit line increase may result in an inquiry on your credit bureau; however, some requests are determined using only internal factors on your account and may not result in an inquiry on your credit bureau. 2:20:20 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: i just want to see the decision and why it was made? 2:21:01 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: too much activity was one of the complaints. 2:21:28 PM : James: I am so sorry for the inconvenience, I understand 2:21:34 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I have a secured card i am always changing the limit on by increasing the collateral. 2:22:08 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: each month i place a few more hundred on it. So each month my credit changes. 2:23:13 PM : James: We value you as our customer and appreciate your business. 2:23:15 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: (10% discount on a shield tablet? I decided to apply. 400 - 40) 2:23:23 PM : James: If you wish I can place a request for credit line increase 2:23:51 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I do but only if they look over the application with this info and make a new dicision. 2:24:14 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: The credit pull would hurt my score by much more than $400 is they do it again. 2:24:32 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Just help me pay right now !!! 2:24:44 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Are you after a commission or something? 2:25:07 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: just want to pay the card off in a lump sum right now. 2:25:34 PM : James: I will explain you 2:25:34 PM : James: It is very difficult for you to determine with certainty whether or not there will be an inquiry when processing a credit line increase request. This is due to the “internal factors” as mentioned above. 2:25:54 PM : James: And the balance on your account is $403.23 2:25:59 PM : James: I will credit $25.00 to your account 2:26:14 PM : James: And you can pay $378.23 2:26:24 PM : James: I am trying my best to help you in all the way I can 2:26:34 PM : James: Would you like me to credit $25.00 to your account? 2:26:54 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Sure. Every penny matters. 2:27:14 PM : James: Your satisfaction is important for us and I will do my best to help you in all the way I can. 2:27:49 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I still want to make the entire payment on the card today. Can i call and use a debit card to pay it all off? 2:28:08 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Do i have to wait 48 hours for it to post on my account? 2:28:29 PM : James: You may call customer service at toll-free 1-866-634-8379 and make payment without any fee with debit card 2:28:44 PM : James: No, you can call and make $378.23 payment 2:30:22 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: So just to be clear. You have applied a $25 credit. And if i call right now. The new balance they will see is = $378.23 ? 2:31:00 PM : James: Yes, you are absolutely right. 2:31:25 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I have one more question. May i ask it here? 2:31:54 PM : James: Sure 2:31:59 PM : James: I will be more than happy 2:32:38 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I have a utility company here named JEA. I once set up automatic payment of my utility bills. Then paid the bill when it arrived. 2:33:41 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Then on the scheduled day of automatic payment they double charged me for a bill that had been paid down to zero two weeks before.... Will that happen on 4/20 with this scheduled thing i did? 2:34:34 PM : James: You can just click on "payments" tab and then select "scheduled payment" 2:34:44 PM : James: You can cancel the payment or edit the payment date and amount 2:35:04 PM : James: If you wish to make the payment over the phone with debit card you can cancel the payment 2:36:07 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: So that was an important question. 2:36:39 PM : James: Yes, else both the payments would post 2:36:42 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I followed you directions and it wants me to log back in. However it did not accept my email address as my log in ID. What now? 2:37:20 PM : James: The site would be timed out 2:37:43 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Yes. So what is the correct log in ID? 2:37:58 PM : James: May I please request you to click on "Forgot User ID" on first page of www.syncbank.com/amazon? 2:38:03 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I know my password. But it does not ask that. Just the ID? 2:39:52 PM : James: Yes, you can get your user ID 2:39:57 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: silly damn computer. It was my email. But it had to be all if lower case and no proper Caps for it to be accepted...... :::annoyed::: 2:40:32 PM : James: I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused. 2:41:15 PM : James: I will be glad to help if you need any more information from your account. 2:42:05 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: ::snicker at the trained response:: do you have another $25 to apologize with? 2:44:02 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I entered my email with caps. But the system automatically changed it. 2:44:24 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Then would not accept it with caps to enter the account. WEIRD. 2:45:15 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Are you quiet to see if they will approve the $25 or is this professional distance? Perhaps you had business to address elsewhere? 2:45:56 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: What was that number again? I'd like to call and make my payment. 2:46:13 PM : James: I am really sorry, I have already processed $25.00 and system does not allowed to credit another $25.00 2:46:23 PM : James: You may call customer service at toll-free 1-866-634-8379 and make payment without any fee. 2:48:41 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: That's fine. I only ask because every penny counts. And you'll have to forgive me. But it is mildly insulting to tell me you are sorry for the inconvenience when the computer or programmers is clearly not sorry and intentionally set it up so that i could not use proper caps in my ID or email address. Rather than get upset at the lie i chose to laugh at it as a canned response. 2:50:57 PM : James: Yes, the user ID is case sensitive 2:51:03 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I called the phone system and it says you lied to me twice??? It says my balance is $403.23 ? 2:51:16 PM : James: I understand, it would be frustrating some times if the system does not help us 2:51:28 PM : James: As mentioned, the balance will be updated in next 48-72 hours 2:51:48 PM : James: However, you can be rest assured that your balance is $378.23 2:52:44 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: please forgive me for being frustrated. But if you read the conversation there was no mention of wait 48-72 hours for the credit to post. I know it is not your intention. But that makes a third lie. 2:53:36 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I asked specifically if i call right now will the credit be posted? And your response was Yes when i call it would show up. 2:54:32 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: or at least that is how the conversation felt. 2:55:09 PM : James: I am really sorry for the confusion. 2:55:29 PM : James: $25.00 will post in next 48-72 hours, however, you can pay $378.23. 2:55:39 PM : James: And cancel the payment which was made online 3:02:28 PM : James: I will be glad to help if you need any more information from your account. 3:02:28 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Is it possible to save or email this conversation as a copy to myself? The problem is the computer system and not you. But a lot of things happened here. Ridiculously low credit limit. ID being made all lower case by the website. The automatic charge 20 days later if i had not asked you. And a lot of bad things could have happened. In fact some things did. Amazon made my default automatically their card instead of the one i selected. So a lot of my purchased were canceled or interrupted and did not ship on time until i logged back in and changed the payment method. EVER THOUGH AMAZON APPROVED ALL THE PURCHASES on their card and then frozen them days later. Not hours. Days later. I had to wait on an emergency tool to unlock something important. And that was delay by days because of their computer systems changing things automatically just as it did with me ID? Don't they think i know what i want? Why do they force their card and their lower cases and their enforced payments even if the account balance would have been zero when it happened? I could be overdrawn with these things they do. $404 dollars is not always in that checking account. 3:03:00 PM : James: I am sorry, we do not have an option to email 3:03:01 PM : James: Once the chat is ended, you may scroll down and click on "Skip the Survey and Print chat". 3:04:11 PM : James: Please do not misunderstand, and I am really sorry for all the confusions and problems 3:04:55 PM : James: We do respect your time and understand how difficult it would be if you are getting problems in log in 3:05:45 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I will try the phone again now. What is the correctED balance i want to pay when i call? 3:06:10 PM : James: You can pay $378.23. 3:06:30 PM : James: And make sure that you cancel the payment which you made online 3:06:40 PM : James: Thank you for your patience. 3:08:42 PM : James: I will be glad to help if you need any more information from your account. 3:08:58 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: ty on phone 3:09:45 PM : James: Thank you for your patience and understanding. 3:10:00 PM : James: Thank you for contacting Synchrony Bank regarding your Amazon.com Store Card. Have a wonderful day. 3:11:41 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Here is a 4th lie. They want paper checks and not credit card. Debit card is not an option. And the voice recognition is nearly impossible had to repeat until it let me use the touch pad to navigate. 3:15:22 PM : James: You can make the payment over the phone with live agent with debit card 3:15:36 PM : James: You can say "agent" "agent" 3:15:54 PM : James: It will connect you to live agent and you can make the payment with debit card 3:16:10 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Thank you James. An agent did answer. And she said there would be no charge for the Debit card. 3:16:25 PM : James: Perfect! 3:16:30 PM : James: Thank you. 3:16:43 PM : James: Thank you for contacting Synchrony Bank regarding your Amazon.com Store Card. Have a wonderful day. 3:17:23 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Okay i paid the $378.23 ~ Here is hoping all this posts overnight. I want to see it done Friday and not have to wait for Monday. 3:15:54 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: I am closing this damn account if after it is all paid no one authorizes or corrects it to a $1500 limit or more. 3:16:52 PM : James: You can any time contact us 3:17:02 PM : James: We are always here to help you 3:17:52 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Okay. Now let's print or email this transcript. 3:18:02 PM : James: Sure 3:18:07 PM : James: Thank you for contacting Synchrony Bank regarding your Amazon.com Store Card. Have a wonderful day. 3:19:55 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Why is that option to print not appearing? 3:20:20 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: ..... 3:20:58 PM : James: You would need to end chat and then you can view the option 3:21:06 PM : James: Please click on close option on the top 3:21:16 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: it says exit. I will not exit. 3:21:38 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: i want a copy of the chat before it exit. I will copy and paste. StarOffice used to be better than Word and for all the Linux users out there it is not good to assume a paid for Microsoft program is on every computer. 3:26:02 PM : Ui Neil Sandage: Star Office may still be better. (My computer does have the other. I had a student discount on it.) The following is three fields from the Feedback Survey after you "close" or as it says "Exit" the Chat window. **** The card and process is a nightmare. The $400 limit was only good for the one purchase i made. And my balance was $403.23 with tons of blocked orders on Amazon because i spend more than $1,000 in a month and it automatically switched my default payment card to Syncho profanity. ~ James did okay. But as soon as my “paid in full” zero balance posts, then I am closing the account. Edited: (too many characters = 255 with spaces) The $400 limit was only good for the one purchase i made. i spend more than $1,000 in a month and it automatically switched my default payment card to Syncho profanity. As soon as my “paid in full” zero balance posts, then I am closing the account. **** James was polite and prompt. But there were a few things unclear or felt contrary. When asked or prompted he did well. I appreciate the $25 credit. It took the hate or venom out of the emotions. But it is the card and hit on my credit for a ridiculously low $400 that i paid off today and wanted to close today that is ridiculous. The balance does not update quickly and i have to wait. At the start the Agent kept wanting to pull my credit for a second month to change me credit limit when what I opened with was a desire to pay in full and correct when the payment would be processed from 20 days out as it automatically dated the bank draft, to process it today. He was saying there is a magical chance that might not happen does not help. I need a yes or a no. Again. He is not doubt an excellent agent for politeness. But i need a very precise agent that does what I want and not someone who does credit pulls at every chance. There were a lot of issues i had to figure out for myself even though he works for them. I had to get to the conclusion before he confirmed it. And he was polite. It is the company(ies) that is(are) the problem and not this specific person. Edited: (too many characters = 255 with spaces) He is not doubt an excellent agent for politeness. And this exit thing really does exit the chat so that you can not have a copy of the conversation. Even now it says submit this feedback or get a copy of the chat. You are not allowed to talk back if you want to read what was said or have a copy of it. EDIT : 238 without spaces or 305 with. They have a character limit of 255. Convenient and easy to use
It's convenient and easy to use. The interest rate is a little high but it's not a concern if you pay off your balance. I love that you can link it to your Amazon account making it even easier to make payments and manage.

Easy Approval Process and Great Rewards
I’ve had a very positive experience with the Amazon Store Card so far. The application and approval process was quick, simple, and straightforward. Managing the account through the Synchrony app has also been very easy, with a clean layout that makes it simple to view balances, make payments, and track purchases. One of the best features is the 5% rewards on Amazon purchases for Prime members. The cashback adds up quickly if you shop on Amazon regularly, and the rewards are easy to redeem during checkout. I also appreciate the special financing options that are sometimes offered on larger purchases, along with helpful account alerts and security features. Overall, this card is convenient, user friendly, and a great option for frequent Amazon shoppers.
