About the artist
Irene's hopeful lyrics and angelic melodies have earned her the 2025 YYC Music Awards Emerging Artist honour and a Folk Recording of the Year nomination, while her debut album The Mountains and The Sea reached #13 on the CKUA charts. In 2025 alone she took the stage 75+ times, from the Canmore Folk Music Festival to ArtsPlace.
