Some people spend their whole lives looking for the right partner. Nate Schaper found his in high school. In the eight months since their cautious flirting became a real, heart-pounding, tell-the-parents relationship, Nate and Adam have been inseparable. Even when local kids take their homophobia to brutal levels, Nate is undaunted. He and Adam are rock solid. Two parts of a whole. Yin and yang. But when Adam graduates and takes an off-Broadway job in New York--at Nate's insistence--that certainty begins to flicker. Nate's friends can't keep his insecurities at bay, especially when he catches Skyped glimpses of Adam's shirtless roommate. Nate starts a blog to vent his frustrations and becomes the center of a school controversy, drawing ire and support in equal amounts. But it's the attention of a new boy who is looking for more than guidance that forces him to confront who and what he really wants. Tender, thoughtful, and unflinchingly real, Don't Let Me Go is a witty and beautifully written account of young love, long-distance relationships, and learning to follow your heart. "Don't Let Me Go is a charming story. Trumble's love for the characters is evident on every page, and it's contagious." -- Robin Reardon, author of A Secret EdgeBinding Type: Paperback

Really Cool
This is actually a well made portafilter. It was such a good idea to be able to have a nice WDT tool built in that doesn’t take up some extra counter space or anything. It minimizes clutter and just was a good idea so you always have it handy. Definitely would recommend.

Fine basket, lousy magnets: Look elsewhere
Build is nice, solid and the baskets fit snuggly without being too hard to remove. The WDT tool works well and came with a surfeit of needles.
HOWEVER
The tiny magnets holding the WDT in the handle aren’t glued in place and now come FLYING out when the tool is removed. One or two pull free and then shoot across the unit, pulling others out and ending up somewhere in the kitchen. Fortunately (because they’re REALLY small), they form a small column making it somewhat easier to track down. But it’s such a nuisance I now leave the tool out, so there’s a small dangerous hedgehog of verrrry thin needles in my kitchen we need to work around. Sub-optimal, sorta defeats the purpose of in-handle tool.

Unlock your machine's potential
***Twist the WDT tool to remove dont try to just pull, or use your finger nails A slight twist will break the magnetic bond and the tool just comes out of the handle***
i got this to get away chemicals, hot acidic coffee possibly leaching plastic and aluminum that the stock portifilter is made from. This seems like a nice stainless by the looks and heft of it. Aluminium is bad for the brain and plastic is just bad.
Function... Im not using a 200$ or more grinder or anything... Just fresh beans and a 30$ wancle amazon burr grinder and this is pulling beautiful bottomless shots that really helped me dial in better and see my channeling issues that intern lets me adjust and get better.
The stock tapered basket prevents consistant tamps and keeps you from using off the shelf filter papers at the bottom of the basket.
i have to use a gram or 2 more for my dose but that just means stronger drinks. I can tell visually im getting more extraction now that im dialed in by the color after adding milk.

It doesn’t even fit
It doesn’t fit our Breville Barista Pro because the portafilter head is too tall. Such a disappointment.
Update: Absolutely horrible customer support as well. Their only attempt to rectify the situation was by double checking their own portafilter they have and confirming it works. It’s equivalent of “we investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong.” No replacements, no willingness to accept constructive criticism in order to change the dimensions slightly by decreasing the height of the portafilter head by even a millimeter to make it work, nothing. Just a slap in the face telling me to return it and be gone. Avoid this product.
