These comics provide a unique look at the local color and local art scenes of communities in countries as diverse as North Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, the U.K., The United States, and Canada.

Weird, quirky, and the product of artists with a singular vision who work without compensation and with little recognition, BAM has already generated controversy.
