Where those two albums saw Ferguson slicing and chopping the usual slew of R&B and hip-hop samples for his beats, this one is reportedly more stripped down, each track made with just a sample or two 'diced into brain-blurring cubist puzzles that bear little relation to their original sources.' the press release goes on to compare the record's obsessive intricacy to microhouse, citing SND and Kraftwerk as other reference points.
