The Pickup Dog Crate DT 1000XL has all the great benefits and features of the  DT 1000XL with the addition of the All Weather Kit. The XL model is 1000mm deep X 700mm high and 1000mm wide. This gives you an extra 100mm in depth when compared to the DT 1000L making it extra spacious for larger dogs. 

It is a great box for pickup trucks with enough room for a large dog such as a large German Shepard easily or two medium sized dogs on either side of the divide. . It's the perfect choice for transporting your dogs on the truck bed whilst also protecting them from the wind and rain.

The all weather kit shields your dogs from the elements ensuring they are more comfortable and dry on wet blustery drives. It features two removable front door rain covers, fixed side vent hole covers and top rain guard  to protect your dog from the wind and rain whilst still providing adequate ventilation and light. The all weather kit is a popular addition to the DT 1000, as well as the single compartment DT 500 and larger DT 1000L and DT 1000XL boxes as it ensures extra comfort on motorway drives and on wet windy days so common to the UK and Irish climates.

It also has two heavy duty tie down D rings as tie down points so that it can be secured in place. These can be used in conjunction with our easy to use Tie Down Straps. They are quick and easy to apply.

This model also features a tray on top for holding all your dogs travel accessories such as leads and toys. The box is made from a super tough lightweight plastic and to make this easy to clean we have included drainage plugs.

Design

The box is made from a super tough lightweight plastic which makes it easy to lift in and remove from your vehicle meaning you don't have to sacrifice truck bed space when your dogs are not travelling with you. The plastic is anti shatter and very durable making it a very safe box for transporting your dog.

This box has a solid central divide which gives the crate two large compartments. Each of the two compartments fits a large dog such as a large German Shepard easily or two medium sized dogs on either side of the divide. 

The box is also ergonomically designed with easy lift handles to make it easy to fit and remove the box from your vehicle.

The plastic construction makes the box very comfortable for your dogs especially when compared to cold wire cages. The solid base and sides provide maximum comfort and support and safely contains your dog whilst being transported. For additional comfort for your pet vet beds are an available add on and ideal for use with the Pick up Dog Crate DT 1000XL.

The all weather kit protects your dogs from the elements whilst still providing adequate light and ventilation. This ensures additional comfort to your dog on wet blustery days or on motorway drives. 

As the box is easily removed, it also allows for ease of cleaning. You don't have to wash the box by hand inside your vehicle, simply remove the box, release the drainage plugs and hose down the box. 

The plastic frame is leak proof ensuring no moisture from your dogs seeps out into your vehicle which gives you peace of mind when taking your dogs out on a wet day or out for a swim. 

They Pickup Dog Crate DT 1000XL comes with two lockable stainless steel doors as standard. The door design allows for adequate light and ventilation and allows the dog to see out.

The Steel Tie Down D rings are an addition to the Pickup Dog Crate DT 1000XL with All Weather Kit and function as tie down points to secure your box to the truck bed.  Tie down straps are also available as an additional extra and are ideal for use with this box. They are quick and easy to apply.

This model also features a top tray for storage ideal for keeping all your dogs accessories, such as leads and toys, to hand.
