For EVH aficionados, this solidbody electric guitar represents an iconic blast from the past; that said, its modernized features plant it firmly in the present. The 5150 Standard is built around a modified Strat-style body carved from a solid slab of basswood. Its quarter-sawn maple Speed neck sports a comfortable modified "C" back shape, and its lightning-fast, compound-radius fingerboard is crowned by 22 jumbo frets. Plug into a high-gain amplifier, and the 5150 Standard's direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers positively erupt with tone, yielding chunky rhythms and articulate leads with enough punch and sustain to fill a stadium. You also get an EVH-branded Floyd Rose tremolo, enabling you to unleash shameless pitch pyrotechnics with rock-solid tuning stability, along with a D-Tuna for effortless access
