Region

Die Champagne ist das nördlichste Anbaugebiet Frankreichs. Hier ist der Weinbau gerade noch möglich. Nur die windgeschützten Hanglagen ergeben gute Champagnergrundweine, oft entlang der Flüsse (Marne, Aisne, Seine, Aube) gelegen, deren mildernder Einfluss willkommen ist. Die Rebe wächst auf stark kreidehaltigem Boden, der für ihren regelmässigen Wasserhaushalt sorgt.

Der Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial ist ein klassischer, eleganter Champagner mit einer feinen, perlenden Struktur. In der Nase zeigt er Aromen von frischen Zitrusfrüchten, grünen Äpfeln und einem Hauch von Brioche. Am Gaumen ist er frisch, harmonisch und gut ausbalanciert, mit einer lebhaften Säure und einer weichen, cremigen Textur. Der Abgang ist lang und rund, mit einer dezenten mineralischen Note.
