Obwohl seine raumdurchdringenden Skulpturen und Installationen meist aus mathematischen Überlegungen, Konstruktionszeichnungen und Modellen hervorgehen, ist Jürg Stäuble (*1948 in Wohlen, Schweiz) kein konstruktiver Künstler im gängigen Sinne. Für ihn ist Geometrie mehr Ausgangspunkt als Ziel und doch folgen seine Arbeiten präzisen Spielregeln. Basierend auf Sechseck- oder Kreisstrukturen sowie auf Ordnungssystemen wie Reihung, Verschiebung, Schichtung und Durchdringung fragen sie nach den Eigenschaften des Raumes und seiner Wahrnehmung. So sind seine künstlerischen Interventionen in der deutschsprachigen Schweiz auch häufig am Bau und im öffentlichen Raum anzutreffen.
