Schauensee Castle, the landmark of the town of Kriens near Lucerne, Switzerland, affectionately known as SCHLÖSSLI, has always held a great fascination with its austere beauty. It is particularly true for Eva Brunner, who spent part of her childhood there after her mother married the illustrious and charismatic banker Ernst Brunner. This was followed by an unprecedented rise in society, which came to an abrupt end a decade later in bankruptcy. In the autobiographical radio play “Blauensee – A true fairy tale with fatal consequences” from 2007, Eva explored the circumstances behind this story. For the little girl, however, the enchanted surroundings were a breeding ground for all kinds of fantasies. In 2022, Eva went in search of traces at the SCHLÖSSLI and is now working on an artist's book with new photographs, excerpts from the family album and an essay.

Swiss author and photographer Eva Brunner studied Communications (Film & Photography) at the American College of Rome in Italy. After initial jobs as a theatre photographer, she began writing plays, which premiered in Rome. In 1985, she was resident writer at the Stadttheater Luzern. With a scholarship from the Berlin Senate, she moved to Berlin in 1987, where she has been working as an author and translator ever since. From 2005 on, she has devoted herself to artistic photography. From 2007 to 2011, she attended a master class with Prof. Arno Fischer at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie Berlin, followed by workshops with Anders Petersen, Sven Marquardt, Wolfgang Zurborn and Tomasz Laczny. Since 2006, she has been represented in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Germany and abroad.

Awesome value shoes
Size: 11.5, Color: Ivory/White/British Tan, Size: 11.5, Color: Ivory/White/British Tan
These white Cole Haan shoes are just what I hoped for, the color is a perfect off-white, somewhere between cream and pure white, which gives them a more refined look. The quality feels excellent, they’re very comfortable right out of the box, and the laces feel durable and well-made. They fit true to size with no issues. Based on this experience, I’ll definitely be buying more from this brand in the future especially at this price point.

Look and feel awesome!
Size: 11.5, Color: Optic White/Opti
These are awesome shoes - look great really, really white and clean! Love how comfortable they are - and soooo light. I was a little worried they'd get dirty easily, but I've been able to keep them clean. Fit as expected. If you're looking for a great, comfortable, and affordable shoe, check these out!

Great shoe, comfort
Size: 11.5, Color: British Tan/Ivry
Love these shoes, they're super comfy. Laces stayed tied all day. I wear them in a business casual environment, or if I'm going out for a nice meal with my wife. They look good, the color is unassuming and neutral. they also elevate my height, I feel like it gives me an inch or so more versus regular shoes. This is my second pair!
